Acceptable Use
SoundSync Acceptable Use Policy.
These acceptable use standards protect developers, customers, payment flows, licensing infrastructure, downloads, marketplace quality, and email deliverability.
Launch legal note: SoundSync is in controlled launch. This public acceptable use policy is intended to communicate current platform expectations clearly and may be updated as product, marketplace, email, and safety workflows mature.
No spam
Marketing emails must be consent-based, scoped to eligible subscribed contacts, and include unsubscribe handling. SoundSync may restrict campaigns that risk spam complaints, deliverability damage, or customer abuse.
No purchased or scraped lists
Purchased, scraped, harvested, unrelated, suppressed, unsubscribed, bounced, complained, or non-consented contacts may not be used for SoundSync marketing campaigns.
No malware, piracy, or fraudulent products
Do not upload, sell, deliver, or promote malware, pirated content, stolen libraries, fraudulent products, credential stealers, cracked software, or products that violate third-party rights.
No abusive or misleading content
Product pages, marketplace listings, email campaigns, support copy, and storefront content must be accurate, supportable, and not abusive, deceptive, hateful, or illegal.
No API, licensing, subscription, or download abuse
Do not bypass entitlement checks, subscription lifecycle checks, scrape protected downloads, overload licensing routes, probe rate limits, abuse activation flows, or share credentials/secrets improperly.
No payment, subscription, or marketplace fraud
Do not use SoundSync for fraudulent transactions, subscription abuse, fake products, dispute manipulation, marketplace manipulation, stolen payment methods, or misleading checkout behavior.
Marketing consent requirements
Developers are responsible for using opt-in audiences, honoring unsubscribe/suppression state, and avoiding marketing sends to customers who are not eligible to receive campaigns.
Enforcement
SoundSync may suspend accounts, products, campaigns, downloads, marketplace listings, API access, or payout availability while investigating abuse, disputes, security issues, billing problems, or policy violations.
